Hi guys, Baitoey here! Before getting my revision surgery at Lovely Eye, even though I had already done my eyes somewhere else, my double eyelids were still not well-defined. I also had hooded eyes, which made my eyes look uneven. The difference in size between my two eyes was very noticeable—especially in photos, where it became even more obvious.
It really affected my confidence. Doing makeup felt difficult because my eyes weren’t symmetrical, so I had to spend extra time just to make them look balanced. Whenever I took photos, I always had to find angles that would hide the unevenness. Eventually, I didn’t feel like taking pictures anymore because I didn’t want others to notice that my eyelids weren’t even.
So I decided to fix this issue and consulted with the medical team led by Dr. Roungkaw. I admire their work for a long time. The results looked really beautiful eyelid creases, and very natural-looking outcomes. Personally, I wanted a natural style anyway, so it wasn’t a difficult decision for me to come in for a consultation here.
The first step of my double-eyelid revision started with an online consultation with the admin team. I sent a front-facing photo so the doctor could assess my eyelid concerns. After that, the doctor provided recommendations on how to fix the issue, including which surgical technique would be most suitable, along with an estimated cost.
Once I decided to book, the staff gave me detailed pre-surgery instructions and guidance on how to prepare myself, so I could achieve the best possible results after the procedure.

BASELINE EYE: Uneven eyes with hidden creases along with droopy eyelid skin covering the crease due to thick eyelid fat and excess skin. There is also tight tissue at the inner corners of the eyes, causing imbalance between the inner and outer corners. As a result, the eyes do not appear as elongated and well-proportioned as they should.
Finally, it was my appointment day! When I arrived at the clinic, the staff took great care of me. They first guided me to change clothes, then had me fill out my medical history—such as whether I had previous eye surgery, any underlying conditions, or medications I regularly take. It’s important to provide detailed information here, as the doctor uses it to assess and plan the most suitable treatment approach.
Before the surgery, I had a consultation with the doctor who would be performing my procedure. I have to say, the doctor was very kind and approachable. If you have any concerns or specific eye issues, you can freely discuss with them. You can also bring reference photos of the eyelid style you want, or ask any questions. The doctor is happy to answer all questions.
For my case, I previously had double-eyelid surgery elsewhere, but I still had issues with hooded eyes and unclear creases. I wanted a more defined yet natural-looking crease, so I shared my preferences with the doctor. The doctor recommended a double-eyelid revision along with inner corner eye surgery (epicanthoplasty).
I also asked how I could be sure that the results wouldn’t turn out the same as before. The doctor then explained more about their surgical technique, known as the “Dr. Roungkaw Technique,” which is a unique procedure for Lovely Eye & Skin Clinic. Let's see how it works:
Double eyelid surgery: For revision cases, the procedure is more complex than a first-time surgery. The doctor explained that they would need to remove scar tissue from the previous surgery, as well as excess fat. After that, the new eyelid crease is carefully created and sutured according to the pre-designed shape, resulting in a defined yet natural look. The crease remains stable over time, without drooping, helping the eyes look brighter and more refreshed in the long term.
Inner corner eye extension: This procedure addresses tight skin at the inner corners of the eyes, which can make the eyes look closed off or disproportionate. It helps balance the length between the inner and outer corners, creating a more harmonious look. After the surgery, the eyes appear more elongated, with no tight pulling at the inner corners, and the inner corners no longer look downturned.

LOVELY EYE 10 DAYS
Right after the surgery, the staff recommended applying cold compresses as often as possible to help the healing process and allow the eyelids to settle faster. 10 days after the procedure was my stitch removal day. The stafftook great care of me as usual. The wound had healed well and was completely dry. The doctor said my eyelid crease was settling nicely, and it already looked very defined at this stage.
Now, it’s just a matter of waiting for the final results. The doctor mentioned that it typically takes around 3–6 months for the eyelids to fully settle, depending on each individual.

LOVELY EYE 1 MONTH
After 1 month, my eyelid crease has started to settle and looks more natural. My eyelashes are still more lifted and curled than usual, but they should return to normal once the eyelids fully settle I can do eye makeup now, and I really like how it looks. My eyes appear softer and sweeter, and doing makeup has become so much easier.

LOVELY EYE 3 MONTHS
After 3 months, my eyelid crease started to settle and looked much more natural. Living with my new eyelids for three months, my previous issues. I no longer have to worry when doing my makeup, and my morning routine is much quicker since I can get ready and head out to work faster.

LOVELY EYE 6 MONTHS
After 6 months, my eyelids look beautiful and more elongated. The crease fully settled now, and applying eye makeup is so much easier. It’s made me enjoy doing makeup and taking photos a lot more.
