BASELINE EYE: uneven, hidden eyelid creases, thick upper eyelid fat, excess eyelid skin, and epicanthal folds pulling at the inner corners of the eyes. These issues made the eyes appear shorter and asymmetrical. Overall, the eyes lacked the elongated and balanced appearance.

Before surgery, the doctor performed a detailed structural eye assessment. She explained that the right brow bone was pressing down on the eyelid crease. She would perform these three procedures to improve balance and symmetry to my eyes.
1. Double Eyelid Revision
After getting double eyelid surgery for the first time, my eyes were still uneven, and I also had droopy eyelids. These were the reasons I decided to undergo revision surgery.
The doctor explained that during my previous surgery, the excess fat and skin may not have been fully removed, leaving behind excess eyelid fat. This caused the eyelid skin to droop over the crease, making both eyelids look uneven. To correct this, the doctor carefully removed the original eyelid crease first, then simultaneously removed an appropriate amount of fat and skin. After that, she recreated the eyelid crease according to the pre-designed shape. This would provide a more defined crease in the long term and preventing droopy eyes to occur again.
2. Inner Corner Eye Extension (epicanthoplasty)
There was tight skin around the inner corner of my eyes. Dr. Roungkaw recommended inner corner eye extension to trim excess skin covering the inner corners. However, the procedure would leave only small incision. It helps create a longer eye shape with balanced appearance. By combining this procedure with double eyelid revision, it also helps create softer, sweeter eyes with defined creases.
3. Botox program
If you have uneven eyelids due to the habits of frequent raising eyebrows, Dr. Roungkaw recommended botox injection to reduce unnecessary movement of forehead muscle and minimize excessive eyebrow lifting. It also helps stabilize the eyelid crease, allowing the eyelids to settle into place more effectively.
LOVELY EYE 1 MONTH
One month later, my eyes appeared symmetrical with defined creases. There was no excess skin which cover my eyelids like in the past. My life became much more convenient. During this time, I could finally apply full make up and wear contact lenses now. It provided a huge difference. especially when I drew my inner liner. I only spend little time for this step. In addition, I did not have to use eyelid tape anymore. My eyes appeared softer than before, which added more dimension to my face. Even when I do less makeup, I still looked good. I couldn't agree more that having beautiful eyes really made my overall appearance look more attractive and enhanced.

Two months after my revision surgery, my eyelid creases had settled into place and looked much more natural. On camera, my eyes looked softer, sweeter, and brighter.
