I recently had double eyelid revision, along with an inner corner eye extension procedure and sub brow lift. And I have to say, the sub brow lift was definitely the game changer for me! So, how did everything turn out? And did it actually make me look younger? Keep reading to find out!
Let me share a little bit of my background! I originally had monolids and small eyes, with quite a lot of fat around my eyelids, which made my eyelid creases less visible. Whenever I had an event to attend, I would always use double eyelid tape to create a more defined crease and make my eye makeup look better. That was what eventually made me decide to get double eyelid surgery. At first, I was really happy with the results. But over time, my eyelid creases gradually became less visible again, almost as if I had never had the surgery. I ended up going back to using double eyelid tape, and that was when I started thinking about getting double eyelid revision surgery.
For this time, I wanted my double eyelid to turn out beautifully. So I wouldn’t have to go through another revision over again. That’s why I spent quite a long time doing research before making my decision.
At first, I looked through lots of before-and-after photos of revision cases, and that’s how I found Lovely Eye Clinic. They had so many revision cases, and the doctors seemed experienced and trustworthy. I also checked reviews on different social media platforms, many people had posted positive things about the clinic. Many of them mentioned that the doctors performed the procedures gently. I booked my appointment through Facebook page. The admin helped me with the booking and also provided information about the different procedures available at the clinic. On the day of my surgery, I went to Lovely Eye & Skin Clinic, which is located in Ekkamai. It’s quite easy to get there by BTS. You can get off at Ekkamai Station and walk to the clinic.
As soon as I arrived, the staff gave me a warm welcome. Everyone was really friendly, attentive, and helpful. They explained everything clearly, from the surgery itself to how to take care of the surgical incisions afterward.
BASELINE: Sagging outer corners of the eyes from low brow bone, excess skin on the outer corners which droop over the eyelids, excess tissue at the inner corner which resulted in less proportionate eye shape.
One issue from my previous double-eyelid surgery was that not enough excess skin had been removed. Because of this, I still had quite a lot of excess eyelid skin, which eventually drooped over my eyelid creases and made them less visible.
So this time, the doctor planned to remove some of the excess skin as part of my revision surgery. He explained that this would help make my eyelid creases more defined and prevent them from becoming hidden again. It could also help the results last longer, as there would be less excess skin and fat drooping over the eyelid creases.
Another issue was the extra skin around the inner corners of my eyes, which made them look more closed. To address this, the doctor performed an inner corner eye surgery to remove some of the excess tissue and open up the inner corners. This can help make the eyes appear longer, more open, and brighter.
And finally, here comes the last procedure of my surgery. It is a sub-brow lift! My brow bone naturally curves downward quite a bit, and I also had excess skin around the outer corners of my eyes. These made the outer corners of my eyes look droopy, which could make my face appear older and tired. The doctor explained that a sub brow lift could help address this by removing some of the excess skin around the outer eye area. Moreover, the incision is placed just underneath the eyebrow, so the scar will be barely noticeable as it heals. So, how did my eyes turn out after all of this? Let’s take a look!
LOVELY EYE 12 DAYS
I came back to the clinic to have my stitches removed 12 days after the surgery. There was still swelling, but overall, everything looked normal and the wounds were healing well. The doctor was very calm and precise, so the incisions looked really neat and smooth. Both my eyelid creases and the incisions under my eyebrows looked very clean and natural.
If you’re worried about taking care of the incision after surgery, there’s nothing to worry about. The staff continued to follow up on my recovery and were always available to answer my questions and give me advice. They were so caring throughout the whole process!

Let’s look at the photos from the side angle. I’m impressed with how beautifully the doctor placed the stitches. The stitches were placed seamlessly along the brow line. After surgery, the excess skin on the outer corners of my eyes was gone. My eyes appeared more lifted and refreshed.
