Hello everyone, I’m Pim!

BASELINE EYE: Before Double Eyelid Surgery & Inner Corner Eye Extension
Nowadays, double eyelid surgery has become very popular, and there are many clinics offering this procedure. Some people get beautiful results, but some end up disappointed and have to undergo revision surgery—sometimes even multiple times—before achieving the look they want. In some cases, people even try to reverse the surgery just to get their original eyelids back because their skin condition no longer allows for a beautiful crease.
As for me, this was my first double eyelid surgery ever, and I chose Lovely Eye Clinic. In my case, I had double eyelid surgery together with inner corner opening, based on the doctor’s analysis of my eye structure. Let’s see whether the results turned out the way I hoped!
I’ve had monolids since birth. As I grew older, the unevenness between my eyes became more noticeable, so I started looking for a clinic for double eyelid surgery. I researched several places until I came across reviews of the Lovely Eye medical team, which immediately caught my attention because their style really suited what I wanted. So I decided to contact the clinic for more information.
At first, the clinic’s staff responded to my inquiries. I sent them a clear front-facing photo of my face so they could do a preliminary evaluation of my eyes and suggest what procedures might suit my case and what problems could be corrected. The admin answered all my questions very clearly and kindly, which made me feel comfortable and confident enough to book my surgery appointment.
The admin also explained how to prepare before surgery, such as avoiding alcohol, not smoking, and stopping certain medications or supplements that could affect the surgery and healing process. Following these instructions carefully can also help the eyelids heal faster and settle more beautifully.

Issues before eyelid surgery: monolids, Hidden eyelid creases, uneven eyes, Closed inner corners of the eyes
These issues made my eye shape look unbalanced and less lively.
When the doctor evaluated my eyes, the main problem was droopy upper eyelids. My upper eyelids sagged enough to partially cover my pupils. Sometimes I even found myself raising my eyebrows unconsciously just to see clearly. The doctor explained that if droopy eyelids are not corrected, people may develop a habit of lifting their eyebrows or forehead muscles, which over time can cause forehead wrinkles.
Another issue that makes many people’s eyes look short or blunt is the epicanthal fold, or what we call “closed inner corners.” You can notice that many Westerners have open inner corners, which makes their eyes look bigger and more almond-shaped. In Asian eyes, the inner corner is often covered by extra skin. The doctor therefore recommended inner corner opening surgery to help my eyes look larger, brighter, and more proportionate.
The solution was double eyelid surgery. During the procedure, the doctor can remove excess fat and skin from the eyelids, preventing the eyelid from drooping over the eyes again and creating a clear, long-lasting eyelid creases.

After looking at the before images, let’s check out the results after eyelid surgery!

LOVELY EYE 12 DAYS
At 12 days post-surgery, it was time to remove my stitches. I came back to the clinic feeling reassured because after the surgery, I had a dedicated staff member who constantly followed up with me—checking my symptoms via LINE chat, asking for photos to monitor my healing, and answering my questions.
In my case, I had a small amount of bleeding in the white part of my eye after surgery, so I contacted the staff right away. They explained that this can happen if tiny blood vessels are fragile, which may occur in some people. It’s not dangerous and will heal on its own. They recommended cold compresses and using the prescribed eye drops, which helped a lot. So if anyone experiences something similar, don’t panic!

LOVELY EYE 1 MONTH
Now let’s look at the 1-month results. My eyelid crease had started to settle nicely. If anyone notices that their eyes look slightly uneven during the early recovery stage, don’t worry—it’s completely normal. The eyelids still need time to fully heal and settle, which usually takes about 3–6 months.
I also took photos after doing my makeup. My eyelid creases look symmetrical, and opening the inner corners made my eyes look longer and more proportionate. My eyes appear bigger and brighter now. I’m really impressed with the doctor’s skill—just a little makeup is enough!

After getting double eyelid surgery, my eyes look much brighter and more open. The doctor designed a crease that’s just the right size—not too big and not too small, which makes the result look very natural.
If anyone is thinking about getting double eyelid surgery, I highly recommend Lovely Eye Clinic. The doctor is very skilled, kind, and attentive, and the staff truly care about their patients. You definitely won’t be disappointed!
