Double Eyelid Surgery & Inner Corner Eye Extension to correct droopy, uneven, and hollow eyes
My name is August. I had been noticing some concerns with my eyes for quite a while, and I recently decided to get double eyelid surgery at Lovely Eye & Skin Clinic with a Lovely Specialist from Dr. Ruangkhaw’s medical team. Reasons Why I Had Eyelid Surgery
It started with how I felt whenever I looked in the mirror and noticed that my eyes were uneven. One eye seemed more sunken than the other, which made my eyelid creases look asymmetrical. It also made applying makeup more difficult, so I often had to use double-eyelid tape and false eyelashes.

My Main Eye Concerns

Based on the doctor’s assessment, I had droopy upper eyelids that covered my natural eyelid creases due to thick eyelid fat and a significant amount of excess skin. The fat pushed against the eyelid creases, while the sagging skin covered them, making the creases barely visible and resulting in hidden double eyelids. Overall, this also made my eyelids look puffy. It made eye makeup even more difficult for me. My eyeliner would disappear into the eyelid folds, and false eyelashes would come off easily. These were the main reasons I decided to correct my droopy eyelids with double eyelid surgery.
- Uneven eyes
The main causes were the congenital eye condition and droopy eyes, which made the eyelid creases on both side appear uneven. One eye had more excess amount of fat and skin than the other side, making that eye appeared smaller.

My left eye socket was deeper, making the eyelid crease on my left eye look more hollow than the right. I also had multiple eyelid creases, which made my eyes look noticeably asymmetrical. In photos, the uneven, wrinkled eyelid creases were sometimes even more obvious, and my eyes could look droopy and tired, as if I were sleepy.

There was excess skin covering the inner corners of my eyes, making them appear closed off. This made my eyes look less elongated and the overall eye shape less proportionate.
What Surgical Procedures Did I Have?

The incision at the inner corner is very small and can heal alongside the incision from double eyelid surgery.
Results After Surgery
LOVELY EYE 0 DAY
Immediately after the surgery, my eyes already looked bigger, softer, and sweeter. The doctor meticulously placed the stitches, and the incisions looked neat and clean. I also didn’t have to worry about post-operative care because the staff were always there to guide me through everything in detail—from how to apply a cold compress and take my medication to cleaning the incisions, applying ointment, and choosing the right foods for recovery. They were ready to answer every question I had throughout the healing process.
LOVELY EYE 3 DAYS
3 days after surgery, the results could clearly be seen from the photo. The swelling was much less than I expected, especially compared with cases I had seen from other clinics where the eyes looked quite swollen. At Lovely Eye, the surgeon had a very gentle touch. The procedure was painless, I had no pain afterward, and the surgical wounds looked very neat and clean.

About 2 weeks later, I got stitches removed. I did not feel any pain at all. The staff were still as lovely and attentive as always. The swelling had gone down, making my eyelid creases look more defined. My eyes looked bigger, softer, and much sweeter.

I’m so happy with my new eyelid creases! My eyes look softer and more beautiful, with a longer, more balanced shape. I love how they look in photos now since I don’t have to search for the right angle anymore. Both eyes look more symmetrical and proportionate, with no more hollow eyes or tired-looking, droopy eyes. I absolutely love the results!
