During the first three days after double eyelid surgery, my eyelids were still swollen, which is a normal part of the recovery process. Personally, I felt that the swelling was less than I had expected. During this period, I regularly applied cold compresses around my eyelids as instructed to help manage swelling and bruising.

The clinic staff continued to follow up with me through LINE to check on my recovery. They explained how to take care of the surgical area, how to clean around the incision, which supplies to use, and reminded me to keep the wounds away from water. The instructions were detailed and easy to follow, and I felt well taken care of throughout the recovery process.

By day six, the bruising and swelling around my eyes had started to improve. After stopping cold compresses for two days, I switched to warm compresses according to the post-operative instructions.
I also went to a hair salon near my place to have hair washed. If you need to wash your hair during the early recovery period, I would recommend having it done professionally so you can avoid getting water around the surgical wounds, which could increase the risk of infection.
LOVELY EYE 13 DAYS
After 13 days, it was finally time to have my stitches removed. The staff welcomed me and took care of me just as attentively as they had on the day of my surgery. The stitch-removal process didn’t take long. I felt a little tightness during the procedure, but it wasn’t painful for me.
Afterward, the staff also checked my surgical wounds. Overall, the incisions were dry and healing well, and my eyelid creases were beginning to settle according to the design. I continued using warm compresses as advised during the recovery period.
LOVELY EYE 1.5 MONTHS
Here’s my update after a little over one month. Even though my eyelids had not completely settled yet, I was already really happy with how the creases looked. Once I tried doing a full makeup look again, everything felt much more balanced. Applying eye makeup became easier, and I no longer needed to use double eyelid tape. Four months after my double eyelid surgery, my eyelid creases had settled much more. For me, the difference was easy to notice.
